Plataran Puncak Resort, Venue & Dining, and Wellness Retreat: The True Iconic, Nostalgic, and Next-Level Puncak, Showcasing Nature-Culture-Community Ecotourism Engagement.
Plataran Indonesia has established various destinations that embody the principles of sustainability, cultural, and nostalgic heritage, including Plataran Puncak. Previously named Widuri, one of the most legendary villas at Tugu Puncak in the 1960s, it was owned by an industrialist family for their Jakarta weekend getaway. It is around 80 km from Jakarta, situated at an elevation of approximately 1,000–1,500 meters above sea level, with an average cool temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. It offers a very impressive scenic view of the close-range Gunung Pangrango and Gunung Gede, with a terrain featuring upper valleys and land next to a river.
The site was abandoned in the early 1990s and was subject to flooding due to the overflow of the river, as well as the risk of landslides from the retaining walls. Plataran acquired the land in the early 2000s and, over the past few years, has been studying the site and developing a concept for the land.

- Becoming Nature’s Best Friend by environmentally restoring this previously abandoned site through planting endemic trees and plants, creating massive biopore infiltration wells (sumur resapan), strengthening the river wall to prevent land abrasion, developing special water sewers (saluran air) to manage the abundance of water from surrounding areas and prevent landslides, and optimizing river water by creating a distillation tank to minimize the use of unnecessary water drilling wells.
